Passive adaptive isolation system has the characteristics of low sensitivity and highstability in frequency range of earthquake excitation, high self spacing and reset ability,good isolation and energy elimination mechanism. It is a perspective isolation bearing andcan meet the multiple-seismic demand of earthquake input machanism in differentfortification level. The article makes use of advanced friction pendulum isolation bearing,increases stop block and changes the curvation of sliding surface, making the stiffness anddamping can calculate and control the rules without adding any outer ernergy. Changingand adjusting theirselves according to the shift amplitude of isolation bearing can makethe isolation construction appear different constructive characteristics in earthquake ofdifferent fortification level, meet the multiple structure seismic standard.Firstly, the article analyzes the construction formal and vibration reducingmachanism of passive adaptive earthquake isolation system, establishes theory lag modelof adaptive isolation bearing, by using finite element software ANSYS to conductnumerical simulation. As buffer damper is made of non-elastic material, such as rubber,which makes it possible to calculate the load-displacement curve of shock absorber andeatablish the mechanical model of adaptive isolated structure, seeking of the optimivecombination of isolation bearing and damping device. Adding adaptive isolation to thestruture model, comparing with the seismic behavior of other isolation system, verifing thesuperiority of new isolation system, it can embody that adaption system is a kind ofsystem with the effective of earthquake isolation and enerty elimination, meet themultiple-seismic demand of earthquake input machanism in different fortification level.The article researches the demage and protect of isolation bearing, analyzes the effectbrought by struction aspect ratio in earthquake and the structure cycle of earthquakeisolation,and promotes the measures to protect the bearing from severe near-faultearthquake by making full use of bearing’s soft-collision.
