Based on a remote sensing project, the on.board calibration technology for mid.infraredchannel is analyzed in the thesis. The method and algorithm of on.board calibration isresearched. Calibration mechanism is designed and the technology of design is verified byverification test. The research provides basis for project of on.board calibration formid.infrared channel.In the thesis, principle of radicalization calibration and algorithm of relative calibrationare researched. Project adaptability of different algorithms is analyzed.Based on design parameters of remote sensor, On.board calibration mechanism isdesigned, which adopts partial optical path full. aperture design and two.point method ofcalibration. According to the analysis of transmission about features reflected solar radiationand heat radiation from earth to on.board calibration system, the on.board calibrationtemperatures are computed. Finally on.board calibration temperatures setting, dynamic range,integration time and NEΔT setting are analyzed synthetically and optimum designed. Thecomprehensive design cycle and algorithm are advanced.According to research of on.board calibration mechanism design, a simple and reliabledesign is adopted in which the makeup, structure,mode and material design parameters ofon.board calibration mechanism are analyzed. Based on the method of on.board calibration,on.board calibration accuracy is computed.According to calibration test in the laboratory and outdoor location imaging test, theon.board calibration technology is verified. Comparing relative calibration accuracy ofuniform field before relative calibration with the accuracy after relative calibration and visualeffect of outdoor location image before relative calibration with the image after relativecalibration, results show that the technology of on.board calibration can satisfy requirementsof on.board calibration.
