With the rapid development of highway, the transportation developed faster and faster,the rutting has became the most destruction common form of the asphalt pavement. Espciallythe process of urbanization is accelerating, there are more and more people, buildings, roadsin the city, leading to the temperature of the city is higher than the suburban’s, form the urbanheat island effect. So it is very necessary to cool the temperature of asphalt pavement toreduce rutting and mitigation of urban heat island effect.The paper start with the mechanism of the ceramic for thermal resistance and cooling,analyze the way of thermal conduction, study the factors impact on the thermophysicalparameters of asphalt mixture. Analysis showed that, in theory, the ceramic thermal resistancewearing course can prevent the heat to pass through the road to cooling the temperature of theasphalt road surface.Second, the article researches the mix proportion of the ceramic thermal resistancewearing course of asphalt mixtures. Based on the mix proportion of SMA-10, choose thegradation median as the design grading, select the appropriate ceramic, the thickness of theaggregates, asphalt binder, slag fibers according to the criterion. Through Marshall test, getthe optimal asphalt content. Then, have tests about the thermal resistance and pavementperformance, study the impact on the mixture of different content of ceramic. Comprehensivethe results of thermal resistance test and pavement performance test to make sure the optimalasphalt content in the asphalt mixture.Third, in order to mitigation of urban heat island effect, developing a new ceramicthermal resistance of thin-layer materials. Tested about the effect of thermal resistance andanti-slide performance. Summary the technical characteristics of ceramic thermal resistance ofthin-layer and give out the ceramic thermal resistance of thin-layer construction process.Finally, the article analysis the cost and the benefits of both ceramic thermal resistancewearing course and thermal resistance thin layer.
