| Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is a enhance stability control systems basedon ABS and TCS; ESC system monitor vehicle behavior via high quality sensors, todo the judgment whether vehicle behavior depart from driver demand or not,distinguish critical situation, and distributor properly intervention to stable vehicleduring any driving condition.This Thesis is to research method of Electronic Stability Control vehiclecalibration and matched regulation. Investigation on principle of under steer and oversteer, as well as identification under steer and over steer situation, ESC do thearbitration to deliver pressure according to difference situation, to keep vehicle stablewith any drive condition. ESC strategy isn’t only focus on two degree of freedommodel, differential equations and etc. But also ESC is considered tire model. So ESCisn’t only monitor inertial sensors and steer angle sensors to correct yaw moment,also do the slip control algorithm on the wheels.Further research vehicle calibration if Electronic Stability Control system,currently vehicle calibration of ESC is at start point in China, most of them isThreshold method. In this Thesis, introduce calibration method from the basis thingsuch as measurement of COG, position of inertial sensors and transfer to COG, tiresize and etc, next step to do the measurement if steer ratio, roll compensation oflateral acceleration, measurement vehicle characteristic speed, set up basis ESCmodel, to consider Amplitude frequency characteristic and phase frequencycharacteristic, then do the calibration with difference drive situation of threshold forover steer and under steer, also via PID control to trim correct yaw moment, keepvehicle stable. All the steps are according to actual project, the logic among TRW,Bosch and Continental should be a little different, but main strategy should be same,and the calibration method can be shared and learn each other.Electronic Stability Control system verification test includes FMVSS126“Electronic Stability Control Systems Testingâ€, which was issued by NHTSA at2006, It require all the vehicle which vehicle mass above4500kg are forced toconfigured ESC system from Sep.1st2011. ECE R13H Annex9“Electronic StabilityControl Systems†which was modified by UNECE at2009, it requires all new vehicleplatforms should be configured ESC system from Nov.1st2011, and it is forced from Nov.1st2014. In China, the GB is on process, forest it will be on board at2012.From2009, all NCAP five star vehicles must be configured ESC system, and GTR No.8Sine with Dwell is a standard verification method. In this Thesis, introduce Sine withDwell test purpose, test method, test criteria according to FMVSS126. Through testdata and analysis with details information, identification all calibration method in theThesis is reasonable and available. |
