With the rapid development of electronic technology, more and more electronicdevices are more widely used, and more electronic devices are battery-based powersupply system. In this trend, a good charging method is very important. A goodcharging technology not only able to achieve fast charging, make battery store moreenergy in the shortest time, but also improve battery efficiency; On the other hand, thesafety of the battery charging technology is crucial. This thesis describes the chargemanagement chip based on TI company BQ24156implements a management-drivencharge on the router, to give the lithium-ion battery safe and reasonable charge, greatlyimproving battery life and charging efficiency.This thesis carefully analyzes and summarizes the common charging technology,elaborating the projects and products of my involvement in the charge control needs,achieving a complete charge management-driven, giving the complete design procedureand development methods. The main contents include trickle charge, constant voltagecharing, constant current charging, the battery temperature detection, charge timecontrolling, the algorithm of smoothing voltage, the algorithm of battery voltageconverted to electrical quantity. Test section of this paper respectively andcomprehensively test the above design steps and analyze the test results. In the end, theuse of digital test equipment completely test the charge, and obtain the curve of thecharging voltage and current changes, the diagram of curves effectively illustratecorrectness of the charge-driven design of this paper.This thesis focuses on the complete implementation of efficient charging process,while also taking into account the charge of safety; the design drivers will describe howto regulate the process of charging depending on the changes of the battery temperature,and limit the time of charging,thus making the process of the charge management moreintelligent, and making the design more security.
