Latticed shells structure is widely used in the field of large span space as with thebeautiful appearance and the large span. As with the structure span increases, thestructure thickness reduces, the stability analysis is becoming increasingly important,the checking computations of the stability is the key problem in the designing. In thispaper, we establish the schwedler latticed shell with the finite element analysissoftware ANSYS. In order to research the nonlinear stability of latticed shell, we mustconsider the initial defects, material nonlinear and other factors. and in the seismicloads, consider the dynamic response characteristics of latticed shellFirst of all, we discuss the development of latticed shell structures, and thenintroduce the related theoretical knowledge of structure stability propertie, includingthe material nonlinearity, geometric nonlinearity and beam knowledge, and mainlyintroduce the shell structure instability, instability factors.Secondly, we use the Schwedler latticed shells as the research object to calculatethe structural ultimate load with the consistent mode imperfection method andimproved the consistent mode imperfection method. In order to analysis the dynamicelastic and elasto-plastic response, the one-way and three seismic waves are applied tothe schwedler latticed shell. Further validation of this kind of latticed shell is a defectsensitive structure.At last, all the information that were given and all the conclusion based on theanalysis were summarized. And the observation of schwedler latticed shell was made.
