With the rapid development of urban rail transit, the subway, as a fast and convenient transportation, gets more and more the favor of people. In the view of our special national conditions, more people and less land, high house price, making use of the upper space and underground space for property development not only can gain more urban construction land, improve the land utilization, but also can give full play to the commercial value of property along the metro lines. Therefore over-track buildings on the subway have been developed rapidly.This paper researches on the vibration and structure-borne noise caused by the crane loads about the over-track buildings on the subway. It’s different from the over-track buildings we always said. The buildings on the top of the car depot is our research object. In the car depot, the moving train and crane are the main source of the vibration and structure-borne noise. The vibration caused by train have been research by our research team, but the crane-induced vibration is very different from the train-induced. There has been iocomotive inspection and repair shed in the car depot, and there has been maintenance crane in the iocomotive inspection and repair shed. The vibration haven’t been attenuated by the earth filtering and propagates through the crane rail、bracket、columu and platform into upper structures even cause structure-borne noise. Since the history of the over-track buildings on the subway is rather short, actual projects are rare and few academic are made. Therefore, focusing on over-track buildings on the subway, the vibration serviceability and structure-borne noise of such project are researched systematically in this paper. The following research works are carried out:1. Combining with domestic and foreign literatures, standards and codes in the field of vibration serviceability and structure-borne noise have been summarized, and then the standards available for evaluating vibration and structure-borne noise caused by moving crane are determined.2. Crane load model and calculation method for structure-borne noise have been verified using the measured data of a steel logistics base, and the model and calculation method can be used for evaluating vibration serviceability and structure-borne noise of the over-track buildings.3. Several crane moving sections of a car depot on the subway are selected, and the finite element model of the over-track buildings are established using ANSYS software, which is a large general software on FEM(Finite Element Method). Vibration accelerations of every floor have been calculated using the verified crane load model, and the vibration serviceability of the upper buildings is evaluated according to the determined standards. Structure-borne noise values have been calculated by the gotten vibration accelerations to evaluate the structure-borne noise.Finally, based on the summaries and conclusions of all research works, some suggestions and prospect for further researches are put forward.
