High-energy dynamic compaction stone column is a kind of dynamic replacement method. It combines the virtues of vibroflotation and dynamic compaction. Put the stone into soft soil through dynamic compaction. Due to the simplicity, broad scope of applications and locally material, this method is used far more widely for soft foundation treatment. Civil engineering, especially geotechnical engineering has marked characteristic that study on its theoretical is not further than the practice, particularly among dynamic compaction stone column. Its energy transmission, reinforcing mechanism, soil deformations and its influencing factor are unclear in soft foundation treatment. This has directly influenced the application and popularization of this method. Therefore, study the high-energy dynamic compaction stone column appears especially important right away. This essay introduces the main content and developmental trend of high-energy dynamic compaction stone column, and discusses the primary principles of this method. In the article makes the full elaboration and the explanation in consolidation principle, using ranges, design methods, construction craftwork and quality control, etc. This could put on a firm basis on selecting scheme in soft foundation treatment. Using the FDM codeā€”FLAC3D, the high-energy dynamic compaction stone column is simulated. Comparing the simulation results with the measured data, and verify the method possibility of the numerical simulation. To optimize the method of the high-energy dynamic compaction stone column.Furthermore according to the project of concurrent engineering performed in Zoucheng, illustrates in detail the construction procedures and implementing effect, which supplies the method and theory for ground improvement in modern construction projects.
