Placed in reinforced concrete filled steel tubular structures formed a new type of steel-composite structure. The bearing capacity, ductility and fire resistance of the structure can be improved through the work of steel pipes, steel and concrete. The section of the member can be reduced through the work of steel pipes, steel and concrete. The space of the structure can become larger through the work of steel pipes, steel and concrete. In this thesis, the finite element analysis software SAP2000is used to conduct the analysis of modal and response spectrum. In this paper, we enter El-Centro wave, Taft wave, Lanzhou wave to the structures, and conduct the time-history analysis of the structures under often occurred earthquake and rare earthquake. By comparing the modal participating mass ratios, the maximum displacement, the story displacement, the time-history curve of the top floor’s displacement, the time-history curve of the top floor’s acceleration and so on, we can draw the following conclusions:Firstly, the overall stiffness of the steel-composite structure is increased along with the increase of the steel ratio; Secondly, the performance of the steel-composite structure is better than the performance of the concrete filled steel tube structure. Thirdly, the steel ratio of steel-composite column is controlled about8percent is more reasonable, both can satisfy the bearing capacity and the ductility request, and can reduce the cost.
