China’s economy is undergoing a period of rapid development and the pace of urbanconstruction is in leaps and bounds. As the city’s expansion and development, the relativeshortage of land resources exposes more and more obviously. Therefore, urban planning ismoving from overground to underground. A large number of facts indicates that a large numberof developments of the underground works are the main reason of the foundation unevensettlement. Uneven settlement of the foundation is the main factor to cause the damage of theupper structure. Base reaction will be re-distribution in foundation uneven settlement, causingthe occurrence of the destruction of the original equilibrium system of the foundation andsuperstructure, and causing structural internal force redistribution of the upper part, resulting inthe different degrees of damage of the upper structure, even resulting in the overall instability.Consequently, comprehensive study on the influence of uneven settlement of the upper framestructure, summing up the change law of internal force, displacement of upper structure andweak link in structural deformation, have widespread practical significance for the safety ofurban construction and city residents. There’re the main contents of this thesis:1. First, we explained the harm on the upper structure caused by the base unevensettlement, the reason of foundation uneven settlement and effective prevention and treatmentmeasures for these reasons. Then we summarized the study in this field at home and abroad.2. Then, we introduced significance of the nonlinear finite element analysis of reinforcedconcrete, and described the basic theoretical knowledge of the concrete structure, including itsfailure criterion, constitutive relation.3. We introduced the modeling theory and process of the application of finite elementanalysis software ANSYS, then explained the finite element model framework and structureprototype in this paper and discussed the way that the load application of uneven settlement aregiven. We did feasibility study that displacement load was carried on the column, and givenbasic assumption of model analysis.4. We focused on the frame structure model with the fixed support, to study the settlementdeformation that is gradually from the center column of the upper frame structure extend to both side. We gave five conditions of the uneven settlement, summed up the characteristics ofdeformation and the force of the upper frame structure. The thesis compared and analyzeddeformation and force of frame structure based on the S1-S5conditions, got the variation rulesof the structural internal force, displacement, shear force and other performance parameters.5. The thesis researched the foundation strengthening works of the golf driving range of aTourism Development Co., Ltd in Jinan City that there were cracks in walls as an example, andused ANSYS to do numerical simulation on the basis of existing conclusions. Then weanalyzed the influence of internal forces and deformation of the upper frame structure causedby the uneven settlement of the actual foundation.
