Since the1980s, strong earthquakes occur frequently around the world, such asLomaPrieta earthquake (USA in1989)、 Landers earthquake (USA in1992)、Northridge earthquake (USA in1994)、Hanshin Earthquake (Japan in1995)、Chi-Chiearthquake (Taiwan, China in1999)、 Kocaeli earthquake (Turkey in1999)、Duzceearthquake (Turkey in1999).Not only gave these earthquake rise to major disaster, butalso by these earthquakes, people have accumulated a number of valuable faultinformation and records. Wenchuan M8earthquake happened in May12,2008,2yearslatter, Yushu M7.1earthquake happened in April14,2010in Qinghai Province, China.The earthquake made us realize that the devastating of near-field earthquake is largerthan the devastating of far-field earthquake.The21st century is the era of a tunnel and underground space development. Alongwith the implementation of western development strategy, a large number of tunnelsand underground space structure will be built in the vicinity of near-fault orhigh-intensity earthquake zone. In this background of near-fault ground motions tunnelunder the anti-damping done some research, the main work is as follows:First, a brief introduction to the meaning of the near-fault earthquake, as well asnear-fault earthquake in the difference between the far-field earthquake a few notablecharacteristics; for the destruction of the tunnel under the earthquake, large amounts ofdata investigation and research, most of the tunnel is nearly serious damage in the fieldof earthquake, combined with this brief introduction to the near-fault earthquakedamage of underground tunnels, earthquake damage influencing factors and the failuremechanism.Secondly, combined with previous studies and the resources available, this articleextract the typical near-field earthquake in Taiwan Chi-Chi earthquake near-field andfar-field seismic records, the use of the MIDAS-the GTS software analyzes thenear-field and far-field seismic cross-section optimization the tunnel depth, liningstiffness, lining thickness, and other factors in the far-field earthquake in the near-fieldearthquake lining structure seismic response and contrast; near fault ground motionsunder the action of the tunnel entrance lining reaction; analysis of the seismic responseof the cross-fault tunnel。Finally, the tunnel may use the general damping and seismic measures were analyzed and summarized; and the combination of this article evaluates applicability;no one had proposed tunnel earthquake early warning, some of my recommendations.
