Since our country carried out reform and opening policy, civil engineering havemade rapid progress. At the same time, new technology, method, materials, equipmentand new technics on the field of traffic construction have been increasingly emerging,technology standard and design criterion are keeping renovating as well. Under suchcircumstances, our existing brige criterion which took shape in1970s is unable tomeet the need of modern traffic development which includes heavy load requirement,continuous development of transportation infrastructure, and high efficiency ofconstruction not only on the aspect of structure pattern, design standard, but also onmaterial adoption.Highway construction in the mountain areas become more and more.with the fastdevelopment of highway,and the strategy implementation of the Development ofYunNan in China.As a result of complex geological mountain topography,bridgebecome a important part of highay in mountmn areas.Therefore,the research of thebridge design in mountain areas has has important practical significance.This papermainly research on four parts:firstly,through comprehensive analysis the issues of prefabricated structures inprogramming and beam,board layout of higway bridge superstructure design inmountain areas,gives a drtailed layout method by combining thepractice.Secondly,carry out reaseach on the stress analysis of prestressed concrete beamswith cast—in—place process of structural,put forwords stress uniformity coefficentparameter by combining,which can be used to evaluate the result of structural stressanalysis.Through specific examples of bridge design to prove the the effectiveness ofthe stress uniformity coefficent parameter in optimizing the structure.Thirdly,research on the flexible high--pier design methods of high-pier and longspan bridge substructure inmountain areas,and gives some conclusions.Finally, analysis the foundation design under the conditions of complexengineering geological,and gives design examples by project.This paper discusses the key issues of highway bridge in mountain areas asfollowed aspects systemically:bridge superstructure design,bridge substructuredesign,bridge foundation design.This will do helpful to the development of bridgedesign in mountain areas....
