As a typical hydraulic power component, high-pressure gear pump is widely used in the construction machinery hydraulic system. With the development of construction machinery hydraulic system in the direction of high-pressure, working pressure gradually increased to20~25MPa, which further requires an increase in the rating working pressure of the high-pressure gear pump to25MPa.We developed high-pressure non-symmetrical gear pump with the help of CAD and CAE, basing on detailed analysis and research of similar products and combining the experience in product design and manufacturing.Firstly, this paper details the basic composition and structure of the principle of the high-pressure gear pump and puts forward a non-symmetrical gear pump structure, which can effectively reduce the force of the gear and raise the gear pump life. This paper not only analyzes and designs the partial structure of the gear pump, but also analyzes and calculates basic dimensions of the pump.Secondly, with the help of the finite element analysis software, this paper analyzes the stress intensity, strain, deformation and safety factor of the pump body.Thirdly, this paper discusses and designs crafts of gear, front cover and body of high-pressure non-symmetrical gear pump.Finally, according to requirement of the high pressure gear pump national standard in the test methods and the demand of technical parameters, this paper has given comprehensive tests of property to high-pressure non-symmetrical gear pump, and verify the feasibility of the design and the technical performance of the gear pump.
