With the increasing of modern industry, the demand of centrifugal pump is growing fast in chemical and other industries. And mortar pump takes a large proportion of the single grade and suction pump because of its excellent performance. How to improve the performance of pump mortar has become one of the hotspot in the research of fluid machinery industry.The project uses advanced design methods to design the hydraulic performance mortar pump impeller and important parts and to save materials on the premise of ensuring the using requirements of the situation; to design inlet、outlet solenoid valve with good flow properties; to prepare the PLC anti-slip control program through the research on cavitation phenomenon to avoid occurring cavitation phenomenon; finally, to study on speed control for energy saving and make the mortar pump to realize automatic control on the purpose of saving energy and improving efficiency. The project provides a theoretical basis for the further development of new mortar pump products.According to the influence of blade type line, angle and thickness on the properties of mortar pump and the design requirements, we get the most reasonable impeller design after analysis and calculation. And we uses ANSYS、CFX software to analysis the impeller which is designed by the method and traditional method and the whole basin, the analysis and comparison results show that the scheme is feasible. Secondly, layout of mortar pump structure, so as to determine its important parts of the structure and size. Get the stress condition of pump bracket and shaft by calculating and then use the static analysis method in ANSYS to verify their reliability, at the end, use ADAMS software to simulate the mortar pump machine’s kinematics and dynamics characteristics. Then, design the inlet、outlet solenoid valve and use FLUENT software analysis the flow channel. According to the calculation results, the channel structure is improved and the performance of the valve port is also improved. And then analysis the five kinds of mortar pump in the normal operation of the import speed, get the PLC sequence control through the analysis of the traditional manual pump valve open and close. PLC program of the system air defense turn control, put the program into a simulation experiment, the results are fully consistent with the mortar pump air defense turn control requirements. So we can achieve the use of control means to prevent pump operation process in idling phenomenon, protect flow components to avoid over-current components damage.At the end, this paper puts forward an ideas that using modern control methods of mortar pump to saving energy control and analyzes the mortar pump speed range. And to the design of the mortar pump as an example, through the analysis and calculation of pump can be calculated in speed range of several rotating speed performance parameters, establish the approximate mathematical model and used to automatically control reference model, finally using the model reference adaptive control fuzzy control method, establishes fuzzy controller and SIMULINK simulation model, through the simulation analysis, the feasibility of the proposed method is validated.Through the research, we got an impeller design scheme which can made its hydraulic performance better. And to some extent, reduced the size of the mortar pump parts, obtained a relatively good performance of the electromagnetic valve; realized the mortar pump air defense turn control and speed regulation control energy saving.
