With the rapid development of the functionalization and sophistication of mechanical equipment, various of new materials and processing methods have been applied to product development, which lead to the emergence of vibration cutting. Vibrator is the most critical device in vibration cutting, but traditional vibrators are unable to meet the requirements of vibration cutting, or only could make tool vibration. All of them can’t meet the demand for driving workbench vibration. This paper presents a new high frequency electro-hydraulic flutter, which compared to traditional vibrator can output large exciting force in high vibration frequency, with the advantages, such as small size and low costs, ctc. The flutter was designed in a modular idea, which makes it could match the need of work requirement by changing the number of flutter module. The elastic cover of the flutter vibrates periodically by utilizing a high-frequency excitation valve with a rotary structure to control the frequency of fluid into left and right flutter modules. The major work and achievements of this paper are as follows:1. Structure design of the new electro-hydraulic high frequency flutter. The three-dimensional model of the components and the overall of the flutter were built in Solidworks software environment, and its key structural strength was checked at the same time, the working principle was elaborated, as well as, the characteristics of the flutter were summarized.2. Mathematical model building of the new electro-hydraulic high frequency flutter. The mathematical model of the system was established by the system’s transfer function based on classic hydraulic formula.3. Simulation analysis of the new electro-hydraulic high frequency flutter. Using Ansys Workbench and MATLA to achieve the static, modal and system simulation of the flutter.4. Experimental study of the new electro-hydraulic high frequency flutter. Build the experimental research platform for the flutter, collect the pressure, displacement and acceleration data in different frequency, and study the experimental and theoretical waveform by comparing. The flutter has a good performance in high frequency, which is proved by the experimental data.
