The Applied Research On Locating Fault Of Insulators By Laser

Service ability has become increasingly attention with the development of the society.In the Eleventh Five-Year period,the power transmission networks ware constructed rapidly,making the serice ability have substantial improvements.But the testing work of insulators increase greatly as well.In order to reduce further in the outage rate of the transmission lines,it need to improve the testing work of insulators.But,the traditional measurement method couldn’t satisfy the request,because of inefficiency,poor safety and high cost.Ultrasonic monitoring system can complete trouble detection efficiently. With using ultrasonic wave,modern electronic,analog to digital techniques and computer technology,the information of dischargeing signals can be captured, converted, amplified,treated by CPU and outputed by ultrasonic monitoring system.By the matching sounds and pictures,the system estimates the failure situations of electrical insulators,and achieves on-line detection.It provides guidance to service and change poor insulators.This paper is composed of three parts.Part One elaborates the development of the system of insulator detection, analyses the cause of defective insulators and the current situation of the transmission lines and insulators in Hohhot.Then through above analysis,it shows that the current situation of insulators in transmission lines have limited the development of the company,and it is essential to use ultrasonic wave detect insulators.Part Two presents design scheme in detail aiming at the crucial points of ultrasonic wave detect insulators,like system hardware structure design and software function design, and explains the realization processes of specific functions.The last Part describes the application of the system of insulator detection in Hohhot Power Supply, including the low ohmic and zero ohmic of porcelain insulators monitoring, the actual application of detecting faulty composite insulators.It shows the function of detecting faulty insulators by using screenshots and the application results. The system can improve the level of the transmission lines and lays a solid foundation on the reliability of power supply.
