Energy plays a very important role in material base of the human beings’ life and development. Traditional fossil energy as non-renewable resources is used up. The solar energy is the future of the ideal alternative resource with its wide distribution and cleanness. PV power as the important means of solar energy is the most promising new energy technology and has become a key industry in many countries and regions. Photovoltaics communication system, as an important part of it, has covered a wider scope of technology. For individual communication technologies, system has different requirements. Photovoltaic grid-connected inverter communication system is with the hardware circuit and software algorithm, and only the most reasonable circuit design and efficient software algorithm can be combined to optimize the communication system. Photovoltaic grid-connected inverter controller combined with the rapid development of semiconductor technology has diversified.This paper has done a lot of research on the software and hardware system, and designs a stably worked photovoltaic grid-connected communication system. This paper first studies the basic principles of photovoltaic grid-connected communication system and operation mechanism to make sure the communication task of photovoltaic grid-connected inverter and to regard the characteristic requirements of the target as the basis to choose communication bus. Then, the paper will summarize and compare those field different schemes apply to by thoroughly analyzing the characteristics of the different communication schemes and their advantages and disadvantages. On the basis of concluding the typical communication system solutions, the paper will make up new schemes and their structure diagrams. Thirdly, this paper has designed the hardware interface circuit drawing of RS-485bus, CAN bus and SCI bus in three aspects of control module, display module and data acquisition, and have analyzed the selection basis of different components. Finaliy, based on the practical situation of photovoltaic grid-connected communication system, this paper has complete the system software design in three aspects of communication system and have verified its feasibility by experiment.
