Microgrid provides a new technology way for large scale new energy and renewable energy power generation systems application and improvement of the complementarity and integrated technical and economic benefits of different types of distributed generation to meet China’s new energy generation and sustainable development strategy requires and even provide the necessary foundation for the implementation of smart grid technology. Microgrid can not only enhance the comprehensively cascaded utilization of energy, but also can be used as an effective complementary network of the utility in order to improve the power supply reliability and power quality.This paper focuses on the depth study of transient voltage disturbance detection in microgrid and voltage distributed coordination control. Firstly, the background, significance and research status are systematic analyzed and the main problems to be solved in microgrid on current are given; Secondly, the concept, the main characteristics and research situation of smart grid are detailed analyzed and the concept, system architecture and control methods of microgrid in the framework of the smart grid, and establish a decentralized characteristics of microgird dynamic mathematical model for the further study of the detection and control of microgrid technology to lay the foundation. Thirdly, with the output power of volatility, random, intermittent feature, a new detection technology of transient voltage disturbance based on the WM-HHT transform in microgrid is proposed and the generation and termination moment of disturbance signal in microgrid can be detected quickly and effectively. Finally, with the dispersion characteristics of the distributed generation in microgrid, a voltage coordination control method based on the droop characteristics is proposed on the basis of in-depth study of the traditional droop characteristics control of grid-connected inverter in distributed generation, which can solve every decentralized distributed generation coordination problems and can effectively reduce the change of frequency and voltage amplitude of microgrid bus caused by load fluctuations.
