The distributed structure mode of energy sets thermal power pattern as the mainstream of the electric power in China. Correspondingly, improvement of the power plant efficiency and low-emissions are the target of the development of the coal-fired power. This is also the important task of the adjustment about the coal-fired power structure in China. The ultra supercritical thermal power units with low coal consumption rate, high technical content, and environmental friendliness, is the main development direction of thermal power. Development of ultra-supercritical power technology has great significance on environmental friendliness, lowing down the power supply of coal consumption and the improvement of the average load of electric stability and economy for our country from its actual situation.The ultra-supercritical boiler is so complex to operation and difficult to control, with the interactions about water and fuel, this makes it difficult to design and control. So improvement of ultra-supercritical automatic control has great significance on development of the ultra supercritical power technology. Referred to the design and configuration of Xuzhou1000MW ultra-supercritical units in the engineering practice, this paper not only has introduced and setted the model of the feed water system using model test method of it, but also designed and optimized the feed water system. It has realized the establishment of its mode and the optimum control in the1000MW ultra-supercritical units.
