The single axis turntable systems are the key equipments for ground semi-physical fightsimulation of missiles and other flying devices and they are used to simulate all kinds ofattitude motion for aero craft. As a kind of high accuracy equipment, the vibrationcharacteristics of the turntable will directly influence the reliability of the dynamic simulationprecision. However, the vibration problems of the turntable. It is very important to analyze thepower flow transmission characteristics of the turntable.Based on the structure of the turntable, this thesis analyzes the power flow transmissioncharacteristics and experiment of the turntable. The paper emmphatically introduces energytransfer of the single axis turntable from the typical double short shaft system to the basestructure and simplifies the base structure. Application of different experiment methodsobtains the important experimental data and conclusions.The main achievements involve the following aspects:Firstly, Desigh of the single axis turntable structure,such as double short shaft system,framework system, bearings is achieved. According to different research purposes, Severaldifferent structure are designed. And then selective criteria and method for drives and drivemanner are studied. The power flow is selected for the assessment standrads of the powerflow transmission characteristics of the single axis turntable. Combined the methods ofmobility and mode synthesize, the simplified model is analyzed.Secondly, on the basis of modal analysis theory, the measurement system was establishedin the constrained modes for the energy loss in the resonant frequency. Self-oscillationfrequency and modal shape of the single axis turntable structure are analysised. The modalparameters of self oscillation frequency, vibration mode and damp are precisely found. Theseresults can be used as important criterion to the future experiments.Thirdly, the vibration transmission properties of the single axis turntable wereinvestigated by measurement. According to the basic principle of the experimental modalanalysis, the power flow of the input system, double shaft system and base were measured.The tests results were evaluated by the power flow.At last, the factors that influence accuracy and characters of the test were studied. Thedifferent dimension, various type of bearings and the different middle structure were analyzedand compared for the power flow transmission characteristics of the turntable. Someimportant and valuable conclusions are got based on the experiment. The result providesreliable data for the furture structure design and finite element emulation analysis.
