Nowadays, the increasing energy source’s consumption and environmentpollution being more serious gradually, wind power, as a kind of clean, cheap andrenewable energy source, is paid great attention by many countries. Grid typehigh power variable-speed constant-frequency wind power generation technologyis one of the most common wind power generation technology, and doubly fedinduction generator(DFIG) is one of the most common variable-speed constant-frequency generator. Therefore, this research project combined the world windpower research, not only has important theoretical significance, but also has astrong practical value. At first, this paper introduces the structure and operation principle of theVSCF doubly-fed wind power turbine. System includes a wind machine, doublefed motor and converter device. Then the introduction of the important device isin detail. In addition, it describes the selection of variable speed constantfrequency causes. Establishment of a wind turbine and double-fed motormathematical model of doubly-fed motor must pass through the vectorconversion control, namely mathematical model in the three-phase staticcoordinate system changes to vector conversion in two-phase static coordinate, and then to the rotating mathematical model in two-phase coordinate system. Incombination with a variety of advantages and disadvantages about vector controlmethods and the object of study, then take the doubly-fed motor stator flux vectorcontrol strategy. It can be up to capture wind energy, and regulate the active andreactive power. It also simply introduced maximum capture wind energy andmerging control. Finally, based on the mathematical model and the control strategies, thesimulation module is established by using SIMULINK in MATLAB/SIMULINK and Power System in Block in the stator flux control strategy, thedoubly-fed wind power generation system simulation. The simulation resultsshow that the design of doubly-fed wind power generation system under thiscontrol strategy is safe and reliable, and it can be continuously operated. There isa strong guiding significance for the further experimental research.
