Aviation gasoline has become one of the two aviation fuel used by the world’s airlines. The aviation gasoline supplying has been one of the major obstacles restricting thedevelopment of China’s general aviation industry.Currently, the aviation industry’s top priorityis looking for biofuel which can be applied to large-scale commercial development. This paper aims at the analysis the characteristics of biomass catalytic pyrolysis, toexamine the impact of the catalyst on the characteristics of the bio-oil andcharacteristics of aviation fuel synthesized by bio-oil. First of all, the paper elaborate thecharacteristics of domestic and international biomass liquefaction technology.and Theoptimum pyrolysis temperature of rice straw and sawdust. The catalysts containing Ni hadbeen synthesized using zeolite。Under best pyrolysis temperature conditions, The experimentsof biomass pyrolysis to obtain bio-oil were carried out in a small self-fixed bed and bio-oilcomponents were analysed by GC-MS. finally, analyzing the characteristics of aviation oil.The pyrolysis experiments shows that rice straw pyrolysis temperature is500°C andsawdust pyrolysis temperature is550°C, the lignin biomass pyrolysis temperature is higherthan cellulose pyrolysis temperatur. Using the sawdust as sample, when the catalyst reusy, Ni/reusy, β, and Ni/β, zsm-5, the Ni/zsm-5was added, it was found that zsm-5type catalystreduce yield of bio-oil,2-methylnaphthalene, Brassica daisy, propylene was detected. Wherein Ni is added to adjust the content of the bio-oil component. After detection the new aviationoil synthesized by bio-oil and aviation oil, the antiknock improved, Actual colloid increased, but no significant effects on the other characteristics.
