With economic development, many enterprises are facing the major issue of the adjustment of product structure, product technology updates. Displacement pump products as the key equipment of the major projects, how to increase the products of technological innovation, and improve the economic efficiency of enterprises, has become a positive displacement pump industry continues to explore research directions. Positive displacement pump is mainly low speed hydraulic energy, flow rate of the pump within the medium small, piston, rotor and other sports wear small relative; able to speed through the line of control and structure parameters to optimize the design of good self-priming performance. But in the process of transporting liquids in the displacement pump, with the liquid level of the transport, the pressure gradually decreases, the flow velocity is gradually slowed down and affect efficiency. Some manufacturers in order to meet the actual needs of the variable displacement pump.The variable displacement pump is an improvement of the ordinary volumetric pump, its working principle is substantially similar. The variable displacement pump just change some part of the positive displacement pump, such as the shape of the screw. Mentioned herein, the variable volume pump is a cylindrical screw ordinary volumetric pump transformed into a conical twin screw, thus improving the shortcomings of ordinary volumetric pump with a liquid the stepwise flow pressure gradually decreases. As the screw is an important part of the volume of the pump, so the pair of tapered screw has a certain role in the development of the variable volume pump.This article is mainly conventional cylindrical screw processing methods on the basis of variable volume pump tapered screw machining method, the study variable volume pump screw problems that may be encountered in the process, and to identify those involved in its processingseveral algorithms proposed the tapered screw machining program. Using the high-level language (such as C++language) on the research of the algorithm through computer programming and implementation, the feasibility of the method is verified by experiment. The tapered screw machining method of the variable displacement pump widening screw type, this tapered screw machining instructive, also laid a theoretical foundation for the further development of the variable displacement pump.
