With the rapid development of industry and economy in China, the demand for energyis ever growing. Photovoltaic power generation as a kind of new generation meets therequirements of sustainable development strategy in China. It has a broad developmentprospect. In order to ensure the stable operation of the independent photovoltaic powergeneration system, it needs to be equipped with energy storage device. Super capacitor as anovel energy storage component has the advantages of charge and discharge time is shortand long service life etc. It has become the focus of future research and development.In order to solve the problem of damage of equipment and hidden danger inprefabricated substation caused by extreme climate change, this paper designs anintelligent monitor system for prefabricated substation based on photovoltaic powergeneration technology and using photovoltaic power generation system as system power. Itis equipped with super capacitor to storage energy. Using temperature and humidity sensorto detect the temperature and humidity of prefabricated substation whether meet the normalwork requirements. Using mechanical ventilation and heating technology to adjust theinterior temperature and humidity. Using Hall current and voltage sensor to detect thelow-pressure side and high-pressure side of prefabricated substation whether the voltageand current is normal and alarming by the buzzer. Equip the equipment to detect theinsulating properties of transformer. If transformer dry and can’t work because of improperpreservation before commissioning, using heating equipment to remove wet before use andensure the prefabricated substation can work normally.To establish a photovoltaic cell simulation model in MATLAB based on mathematicsmodel of photovoltaic cell. Maximum power point tracking principle of photovoltaic cellwas introduced. Several common methods were analyzed and compared, and selectperturbation and observation method as the research of control method. Simulation andexperimental results demonstrate the MPPT method has better tracking speed and precision.The system in different environmental conditions shows good stability.According to the requirements of the monitoring system, complete the design andproduction of the whole control system. The small power test platform based on the independent photovoltaic power generation system is set up.
