Vibration problems are widespread in the field of engineering and technology, such asmarine propulsion equipment,mining equipment,heavy-duty vehicle, transport and logistics,weapon systems, spacecraft test and launch areas.All these fields has vibration problem. Thestudy and control of their physical characteristics has always been one of the most importantproblems that related industries concern.On the basis of mastering basic theories of vibration isolation and the knowledge of theisolator,the topic takes wire rope isolator as the main object,co-rotating wire rope isolatorsand reverse wire rope isolators has been made through theoretical calculations,its static modelhas been also analyzed and calculated. Apply it on a self-made trolley that can hold things,thedynamic model of the vibration isolation system was established,and experimentalinvestigation and comparison of the vibration isolation characteristics was studied. Finally, thedynamic model parameter was identified by the method of the least square theoryidentification. Aimed at resolving the problems of the shock and vibration encountered in theactual production process, reducing the adverse effects on vibration source device,the topic isbenefit to wire rope isolator designing and understanding of the performance of the isolator.The static experimental results of wire rope isolator show: static test stability of the wirerope isolator is very good, there’s no obvious mechanical damage after several and longmaximum compression; Dynamic experimental results of the wire rope isolator trolley show:wire rope isolator has nonlinear characteristics, and it has good isolation effect on the threedirections of X, Y, Z; Natural frequency of the wire rope isolator range from350Hz to400Hz;It can control the vibration well at a wider band between100Hz and330Hz bettervibration isolation,wide band that vibration isolation advantage comparing frequencyresponse function curves acquired by the theoretical calculation and measured by experiment,it has good consistency between the two. It is verified the effectiveness of the dynamic modelof isolation system, and the credibility of the parameter identification that based on leastsquares method.
