| Truss structure, because of its simple structure, beautiful shape, good mechanical performance and light weight, etc, is widely used in buildings, machinery and other fields. Yet, spatial pipe truss structure brings its value into play utmostly in the field of crane. More and more researchers improve its force and design optimization, but there is no quantitative and qualitative design basis for chord and web member’s stiffness matching. After determining the specifications of chord, it can quickly choose web member which matching with chord, and the stability and strength is to reach optimization for the product to reduce cost and improve the economic benefit. But manufacturers always base products and design experience to develop and manufacture new products. This way of design result in limitations and passivity. Thus it can help designers to choose web member’s Stiffness quickly with researching chord and web member’s stiffness matching and exploring the law of structure design.Taking TZ1350crawler crane truss arm as the research object and under the working condition of main arm,it analysis the overall stress and stability of the boom. Under the premise of meet the requirements of practical engineering application, research the single stress and stability of the chord and web member of the boom which is close to the main boom. In steel structure, chord and web member are treated as both twist joint and calculated length coefficient gets1,but there have discrepancy in this theory. So through the finite element software ansys and the formula to calculate the actual value. It determines the different specifications and lower chord selection of single limb stability coefficient of chord and web member.This article is based on APDL language for calculating and analyzing the models of the specifications of the change, reducing a lot of repetitive work, and satisfactory results are obtained. It will give selection of pipe truss string structure chord and web member provides important design basis. Laid a theoretical foundation for crane tends to be more optimal design. |
