In recent years, with Europe and the United States and other major developedcountries on the security of energy supply, climate change and other major issuesof concern about the continuing escalation, especially in the leading role in theexpectations of the new technology industry in the case of financial crisis, thesmart grid has become a research focus in the worldwide.At present, the world’s smart grid in the theoretical studies and planning thepilot phase, Although pilot projects have made outstanding achievements in allaspects of the intelligent power generation, transmission, substation, powerdistribution, power consumption and intelligent scheduling, these pilot projects areusually small scale,they still learned from storage model and storage method ofrelational database used in the traditional power grid which is based centralizedrelational database. However, the smart grid needs to monitor a wide range ofdistributed electrical equipment, obtained data increase in the thousands, reliabilityand real-time requirements are higher, in the face of these massive, distributed,heterogeneous multi-source information, the conventional datastorage will causethe network overloaded or blocked. Therefore, the traditional centralized relationaldatabase is unable to meet the smart grid requirements for data storage andreal-time read.In this paper,we study further about the storage problem of the mass dynamicperception data in the future large-scale smart grid, and give full consideration tothe objective requirements of the smart grid for data transmission, storage andquery,we propose a data-centric storage scheme which support future large-scalesmart grid,specific working is as follows:Aiming at the characteristics of smart grid that is a wide range ofgeographical distribution,this paper proposes a new data storage model which islogically divided by geographic region; Aiming at the smart grid for data transmission in a wide range and for real-time requirement, we propose a new dataforwarding method, the aim is to achieve the purpose of the fastest speed and theminimum energy to transfer data; Finally, a new rational and effective method ofdata storage is given to achieve the purpose of load balancing,at the same time itcan improve system availability and storage capacity.In this paper,we compared the performance of data storage and forwardingmethod with traditional method, experimental results show that the data storageand forwarding method presented in this paper can achieve the purpose of loadbalancing, reduce the total system energy consumption, increase system storagecapacity.
