With China’s rapid population growth and urbanization, water pollution and water shortage are getting worse. It has become an important research topic for urban rainwater collection and utilization.Rainwater harvesting is the key to rainwater recycling and using. Affected by the volatility of the natural rainfall, ground pollutants uncertainties and other factors.storm water runoff quantity and water quality change over time. At present, the rainwater collection devices and principles are mostly according to disposable flow estimation of the early rain to collect manually or automatically. So the collection efficiency, safety and reliability is not high, which restrict seriously the development of rainwater collection and utilization. This thesis will set a stormwater collection based on the analysis of stormwater runoff dynamics. It putsthe Flow monitoring device, concentration monitoring device, the programming control module and the disposable flowcontrol agency together. According to fluctuations in rainfall and uncertainty of surface contaminationmatter, We will set governingequations-the Saint-Venant equations about stormwater runoff and pollutants diffusion equations, prepare of a numerical simulation program, and study transport processes of pollutants in stormwater runoff based on the open channel unsteady flow and pollutant dispersion theory. Then we control the disposable flowcontrol agency to complete the initial pollution of storm water discharge and cleaning rainwater collection. This unit can be adapted to runoffwater quality fluctuations caused by random rainfall runoffwater. It is an effective solution to the problem of low efficiency, low security and low reliability of rainwater collection, which provide new ideas and technical support for the urbanrainwater harvesting technology and have been markedeconomic and social benefits.
