The optical system of an imaging spectrometer is the key part of the wholeinstrument. A variety of physical effects introduced by the optical system module of animaging spectrometer have been studied:1. The model of an off-axis three-mirror optical system is built by ZEMAX in thispaper. Then, the system’s PSF templates are calculated, and convolved with the spectralradiation data. The effects of the optical system is simulated;2. First, by analyzing the spectral curvature of the dispersive imaging spectrometer, the conclusion that the simulation spectral curvature only needs the calculation of thespectral curvature and linear dispersion is obtained in this paper. Second, the gratingimaging spectrometer and prism imaging spectrometer spectral curvature simulationmodel is established by using ray tracing method. Third, the spectral curvature andlinear dispersion of the grating imaging spectrometer and the prism imagingspectrometer at the wavelength of0.4μm~1.1with0.01resolution of about70bands are calculated. Finally, the total of15wide band spectral radiation data at thewavelength of0.4~1.1is simulated, and the effect of spectral curvature on theacquired radiant signal are analyzed in brief.
