Aerospace industry has been developed quickly in recent years. All kinds of minisat constellation design is now becoming a very hot topic again due to its inherent advantages such as:low cost, small risk, and so on. Therefore, some tiny satellites, which are distributed on the low earth orbit (LEO), can be constituted a minisat constellation, to instead of costly Geostainary Earth Orbit (GEO) satellite. This will be a excellent thesis.First of all, series of definitions are introduced in this paper, such as, spacecraft obital dynamics, trace of satellite point, six elements of the orbit and related conceptions. And then, two typical low earth orbits are researched emphatically. On this basis, a improved recursive orbit based on re-visit cycle is analyzed carefully. Secondly, in order to evaluate the performance of a minisat constellation, a set of grid point simulation model is adopted and then a simulation software is designed. Finally, the improved recursive obit is used, with six tiny satellites distributed on one orbit plane or three orbit planes. Both of them can satisfy the requirement of re-visit cycle no more than one day, and then other performance are also compared and analysed.
