The purpose of structure optimization is economical usage of materials orreasonable distribution of stress, and topology optimization is the top leading part inthis research. A improved topology structure could enhance the structure performanceor decrease weight of it, and this lead to economic benefit, so topology optimizationhave been the hot research work in this fields. Nowadays, description,model andtheory of topology optimization are still being studied because of its complexity andspecificity in algorithm. Meanwhile, topology optimization is less explored oncompliant mechanisms.Compliant mechanisms are the type of mechanisms that use elastic deformation offlexible parts for transferring motion, force and energy. At present, we analysis,design compliant mechanisms by Pseudo-Rigid-Body model. This paper intend to tryto design compliant mechanisms with topology optimization and adopt a newalgorithm on my own way. Because of large deformation on compliant mechanisms,the Nonlinear Finite Element method is taken into consideration in this new one. Thispaper designs compliant gripper and compliant constant force mechanism under thisnew one.Research results shows that this new algorithm can get reasonable outcome fordesigning compliant mechanisms. |
