The technology, properties and mechanism of using saccharide group as WRA(Water Reducing Admixtures) is systemically illustrated in this peper. The research is performed in order to develop saccharide group as a new superplasticizer admixture.The project shows great significance and prosperity in solving many problems existed in the field of WRA in China and unfolding a new applied field for natural polymer-saccharide.Sulfonated melamine urea formaldehyderesin (SMUF) superplasticizer is prepared. The fluidity of cement paste with SMUF reaches260mm when the dosage of SMUF is0.7%. Sucrose melamine rosin was synthesized.and the preferable reaction conditions are as follows:the material proportion is14:1. the reaction temperature is110℃, reaction time is5h. The fluidity of cement paste with sucrose melamine reaches160mm when the dosage of SMUF is0.6%,which indicates that sucrose melamine takes on performance as warer-reducer. The functional group of sucrose melamine was expressed by FTIR.Sulfonated starch is prepared by making corn starch react with CISO3H, and CC2H2is used as the solvent. Furthermore.the optimal technology of sulfonation is studied by orthogonal experiments.The performance of sulfonated starch as water-reducer is systemically illustrated.Using sulfonated starch,the total testing standards meet GB of set retrading and suerplasticizer admixture under the fixed amount of0.3%(wt%). the testing standards include the ratio of water reducing.normal seting time of cement paste and the compression strength of mortar(3d a nd28d).When adding sulfonated starch and FDN together to the cement paste, the total testing standards meet GB superplasticizer admixture under the fixed amounts of0.3%(sulfonated starch.w t%) and0.12%(FDN.wt%).Sulfonated starch is modified by crylic acid. The study of concreting time of sulfonated starch and sulfonated starch crylic acid ester indicates that the concreting time of the latter is6h than the former. Sulfonated starch crylic acid ester is expressed by FITR,SEM and surface tensiometer.The synthesis of starch maleic ester(SCMS) in microwave was studied. The study of the surface tension of SCMS shows that SCMS has superior capacity of lowering the surface tension of water. What’s more, the results show that SCMS has better performance as water-reducer than FDN.The comparative analysis of dispersibility and physical and chemical property between sulfonated starch and FDN indicates that the dispersing ability of sulfonated starch as cement dispersant comes from steric hindrance effect.
