The paper describes the design and development of the testing system,which isused to measure the laser-transmittance of the smoke caused by energetic materialsburning. The paper discusses the transmission charcteristic of the laser in gas and smoke,the measuring method of the smoke laser-transmittance, the development, experimentand application of the testing system.The testing system chooses the semiconductor lasers and the photocell as the lightsource and the sensitive part, chooses the light chopper and the DSP lock-in amplifier asthe quantization and data acquisition part, chooses computer as the Storage andprocessing part, designs the low-noise pre-amplifier,the software which could showreal-time data and process the data, determines the laser-transmittance rapidly. In thetesting system real-time data acquisition, data management, data processing and systemcalibration etc. are developed. The testing system applies to the laser-transmittance offlame and smoke caused by the energetic materials burning,and also can be used for thesafety evaluation of the material, etc. |
