Due to the fact that petrifaction fuel is running out and the environment pollution problem is increasing, more attention is paid to the wind energy. The wind control system experiences the evolution from the initially simple control algorithm to the advanced control algorithm, both of which are all aim to maximize the wind energy obtained by wind turbine. Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign wind power technology, we propose a new effective robust adaptive control method which is capable of realizing the auto-control of optimal wind energy capture using one or more wind turbine in the wind farm. Benefits of using robust adaptive methods for control application include its ability to effectively control nonlinear plants while adapting to unmodeled dynamics, unknown parameters and unpredictable disturbance. The robust adaptive control has the beneficial effects on the single-input single-output system and the multiple-input multiple-output system. The robust adaptive control and the modeling of wind farm are studied in this paper. The primary content and original contributions of this dissertation are summarized as follows:Firstly, the theoretical testing and practical testing of wind power are studied. Based on the international standard IEC61400-12-1, the real testing is done and the integrated data is obtained according to the guidance of the professional workers. The comparison between theoretical and practical testing shows that the error between two curves can not be neglected. The acquisition of the real wind power makes the tracking control of optimal power point more significance in the view of practical application.Then, we research the DTC (Direct Torque Control) and DCC (Direct Current Control) of the wind turbine. Based on the conventional control algorithm and the basic adaptive algorithm, the robust adaptive algorithm is proposed, which is capable of disposing the uncertain and randomness state of the system. With the aid of stator flux-oriented vector control strategy, the proposed algorithm transfers the DTC to DCC. By applying the Lyapunov function and Matlab, the effectiveness of the proposed robust adaptive algorithm is proved both in theoretical view and simulation respectively.Finally, the control strategy of the wind farm is studied. Based on the combination of various wind farm modeling methods, an aggregative model of wind farm is invented in the view of control. The robust adaptive algorithm is applied to realize the comprehensive control of the wind farm, and the tracking control of different optimal states is also discussed in terms of wind turbines in the wind farm. Similarly, we use the Lyapunov function and Matlab to discuss the effectiveness of the proposed robust adaptive both in theoretical view and simulation respectively.
