| As a kind of industrial by-product,fly ash has a characteristics with high yield andlow price.With the implementation of strategy about output power transmission fromwest to east,there will inevitably produce large amounts of fly ash,but in guizhou theuse of fly ash is very limited.Large amounts of fly ash not only take up the land,butcause environmental pollution;and will be generated the possibility of secondarygeological disasters in extreme conditions as heavy rain. How to block use fly ashbecomce a problem of concern,and guizhou built or plans to build part of theexpressway through or will be through the power plant of surrounding area,make flyash for guizhou large-scale expressway construction become possible.By using fly ashfor filling the road embankment is a way which use fly ash most effective,it is of greatpractical significance that research the related echnology which fill embankment usingfly ash.This paper carry out the following work based on science and technologyproject "research how to comprehensive use fly ash in guizhou expressway roadarea"with guizhou transportation department:â‘ The paper investigated power plant distribution along expressway built or to bebuilt in guizhou,and on the basis,reseached the physical&chemical properties andengineering properties about road of fly ash.â‘¡The paper reseached the typical structure form of the fly ash, put forward fly ashembankment typical sections by the stability analysis of embankment with finiteelement software PLAXIS,and analyzed the points of fly ash embankment`s drainageand the improvements of fly ash embankment stability when using geogrid.â‘¢The paper analyzed the stress and deformation of fly ash embankment withPLAXIS¢rifuge test and spot measurement With fly ash embankmentexperimental road.â‘£Finaly,that summarized the construction technology about fly ash embankment byfly ash embankment experimental road and analysed fly ash embankment in economicview,that will provide the reference for builting this kind road in guizhou area. |
