In today’s society, science and technology develop rapidly. For lots of electricalequipment, the quality requirement of the inverter welding machine is higher and higher.Traditional power control circuit uses analog circuit. Analog circuit has manydisadvantages, such as signal is transmitted, vulnerable to interference. While, thedigital control technology is superior to analog circuits in many respects, such as highfrequency, low power consumption, convenient development, maintenance, etc.. Alongwith the electric power electronic control in low power consumption, high frequencydirection, digital control displays its superiority. Because of high integration, strongversatility, a speed advantage, in numerous control chip, DSP control chip talentshowing itself, and become a hotspot in the field of power electronics control. In thispaper the application of TMS320F2812chip for inverter welding power control, realizedthe digital inverter welding machine.According to the hard switching mode power loss is big wait for defect, while thetraditional soft switch load greatly influences, not easy to achieve wide load range ofsoft switching, without increasing the complexity of the premise, the limited bipolarcontrol mode, to solve the traditional phase welder dead is not good, low utilization rate,adjusting transformer the defects of system loss. Based on the limited bipolar controlprinciple, selection of topology structure, mode of work carried out in-depth researchand analysis. Then the topology of main circuit is simulation validated by MATLAB.Finally design a limited bipolar circuit topology. Then by using a limited double maincircuit for the foundation, to design the control circuit based on DSP hardware andsoftware.On the welding power supply prototype are offline and online experiment. Offline when thedriving waveform measurement, verify the drive, protection and control circuit is correct. In theonline test, through the actual welding steel plate welding experiment, the result of theperformance index requirement.
