This paper analyzed the influence of factors such as exhaust steam heat load, temperature, face velocity in order to improve the direct air-cooling unit600MW condenser vacuum. Heat transfer coefficient K of direct air-cooling unit finned tube was derived from assumption and iterative computations, the heat exchange area of the condenser from analysis of the cool side parameters by η-NTU under the designing condition. The characteristic curve of the heat exchange area of the condenser was obtained under all kinds of condition with the consideration of the law of the heat resistance inside and outside the condenser pipes influencing the cool side heat exchange area. According to heat the economics principle, with the most annual profit being the objective function and combining with actual power plant meteorological conditions and operation requirements, the design of direct air-cooling unit condenser heat transfer area was optimized. On this basis, the sensitivity analysis of the main influencing factors was conducted such as the coal prices, electricity price to get the curves of relationship between the annul profit and heat exchange which can give some references to the design and operation optimization of the direct air-cooling system.
