Rolling axletree is an important part of the direct drive wind generators, and the main fault of the direct drive wind generators is reflected in the axletree. Therefore, rolling axletree plays an important role in generators’normal operations. Monitoring the running state of rolling axletree and making timely diagnosis can avoid economic losses, prevent physical harm. This paper studied diagnostic methods of the direct drive wind generators’axletrees. Effective fault diagnosis can quickly and accurately identify the faults, so as to timely repair the failures, extend the life of wind generators, reduce losses. Consequently, the study of fault diagnosis methods of wind generators’axletrees has great significance.This paper mainly has the following contents:Firstly, this paper describes the advantages and problems of direct drive wind generator, and demonstrates the significance of the research on direct-drive wind generator’s axletree fault diagnosis methods. Then this paper describes the failure mechanism and fault diagnosis theory of rolling axletree.Secondly, this paper makes a vibration test for direct drive wind generator’s back axletree and gets the real vibration data. As for the mass tested data storage problems, this paper takes the lossless compression algorithms which has significance for massive data storage.Finally, based on the measured data from site, referring to relative standards, this paper studies the direct-drive wind generator axletree’s fault diagnosis methods in all directions, and makes some research, which has laid a good foundation for the design and implementation of later diagnostic system.
