At present, microgrid has become the world’s research subject, but energy storage problem is still restricted its development’s bottleneck.This text has based on the Network’s3MW lithium iron phosphate battery array energy storage system to open up applied research of battery array.And in-depth study LiFePO4own characteristic and the characteristic of the battery array, for energy storage system’s further application in microgrid system provides the basis.First of all this text has introduced the lithium iron phosphate battery’s work principle and properties, by electrochemical model to make monomer lithium iron phosphate battery’s modeling, and has given the lithium iron phosphate battery’s the mathematical expressions of terminal voltage and state of charge, at the same time, has used different pulse current as input to simulate and proved the reliability of the electrical characteristics model; Second it has illuminated the South Network’s3MW lithium iron phosphate battery array energy storage system, including the composition way of the battery array, battery management system’s management and protection measures and its connection and communication way, at the same time, it has expounded that the energy storage system’s grid technology, including two-way inverter’s function, inverter system’s protection measures and control measures; Finally it has launched lithium iron phosphate battery array energy storage system’s applications, including new energy access to grid stably, the experiments of the inhibition short-term volatility and long volatility, in addition, energy storage system cut the peak and fill valley effect has launched research,represented about the system how to set up energy storage device power’s and the capacity’s the size and energy storage device’s control method, also as soon as the research hot spot-composite energy storage’s research has done some work, put forward the composite energy storage technology of the lithium iron phosphate battery array and super capacitor composite energy storage.
