In the existing technical condition AE can detect10-13mm Micro dislocation motion with the most advanced testing instrument. When the internal energy of metal material gathered to cause plastic deformation or crack propagation it will produce AE signals with the effect of external forces and temperature. AE signal contains important information of the AE source. We can judge the material’s stress state, damage degree and other properties with the analysis of acoustic emission signals. This paper mainly for the feature of acoustic emission signal of automotive copper wiring harness in the bending fatigue process. Firstly studied feature parameters of the fracture acoustic emission signal of wire, And secondly, analysized the feature parameters of AE signals, including amplitude. counting, energy and the relevance of the feature parameters, the relationship of counting and other parameters&experience of the feature parameters. Thirdly, concluded the different feature spectrum, and inferred the peak frequency of AE signals and characteristic frequency using FFT transform. Then using pulse reflection and transmission to detect the presence of broken wire, and sums up the amplitude characteristics.
