Contact net electrified railways is now an important part of ingapore in theconventional passenger and freight and high-speed railway work. At some occasions,electric traction of the suspension of system involves contact net hard across, contactnet hard across the corner of the stee and the steel hard across. Hard across is installedas a different type of the pillars for the electric traction in accordance with differentsituations. In this paper, the draft of the power supply network has beensystematically introduced, and the domestic contact net hard across the status quo aswell as the details about the hard across the organization of the construction processhave been discussed. The research work of this paper are mainly as follows.The steel girders with span of36m, including two corners of the contact net steelgirders with height of9.55m, have been researched. Research of the steel girders onthe theory of the displacement, the bend of the beams, the level of displacement of theunit and bending stress as well as the deformation of the beams have been carried outwhen under the external load. The results of the hard steel girders when uner actualload of posts and the vertical displacement of structure have been obtained both by themethods of the experiments and the detailed procedures, globe. In full knowledge ofthe steel girders with the coordinates of the node and hard beams, the modeling ofthe amounts of material element for the numerical simulation of the steel girders andcolumns, beams can be obtained and then the forced displacement field, the stressand strain of the structure under external loads can be calculated from the establishedmodel. At last part of this paper, the theoretical results have been compared with thetest results as well as the numerical simulations, and good agreements between theseresults can be obtained which present to some extent the validity, feasibility andsecurity of the design of the corners of the contact net steel.
