The traditional electromagnetic current transformer has no longer met the demand of the development in electric power system, which was displayed in the gradual increasing of transmission capacity and voltage as well the strong smart grid. As the basal and essential device of the smart grid, the electronic current transformer has become the hotspot and frontier direction of the science research. The topic of this paper rooted in the research about a new electronic current transformer which type is called planar spiral-tube hollow coil based PCB, and own important theoretical significance and practical application value.The technology of the sensing head in PCB plane spiral air-core coil electronic current transformer is a patent proposed by our school(HuNan University). This paper is mainly research about the structure of the secondary coil in PCB plane spiral air-core coil electronic current transformer sensing head, according to the difference of the position of the primary coil and the structure of the second coil, this paper proposed four different structures for the hollow coil in the electronic current transformer. In this paper, the formula of the mutual inductance coefficient and interference factor was deduced through analyzing the performance and capacity of resisting disturbance for the different structures refer in preamble, as well, through analyzing, computing and comparing the performance of the different structure, this paper got the optimal scheme for selection of structure of sensing head in the PCB plane spiral air-core coil electronic current transformer. Base on the research in preamble, this paper did not only establish the mathematical model for the PCB plane spiral air-core coil electronic current transformer, but also finished the analyzing and simulation for the performance of steady and transient state, and proved the correctness of theoretical analyzing and research conclusion.The achievements of this paper got include two aspects, the first is further researching in PCB plane spiral air-core coil electronic current transformer, and the other is the model selection and designer for the model machine. These achievements not only laid a strong foundation for the productization of PCB plane spiral air-core coil electronic current transformer in future, but show that the research in this paper is more meaningful in practical application.
