Power grid operation mode is the general technical scheme of electric powersystem production and operation drew up by the power system dispatch department.As the general staff of scheduling system, operation mode of power grid plays animportant role in security, stability and economy of power system. With the rapiddevelopment of grid construction, extending of power system scale, and greatlyincrease of power equipment redundancy and automatic device, condition for thedispatch department to oriented operation mode flexibly is created in China. As aresult, the feasible schemes of power grid operation mode were met with acorresponding increase and led to the Aurhorized Personnel of operation mode facethe puzzles of multiple selection schemes. Therefore, it is imperative to evaluate theoperation mode reasonably and exactly.Based on the importance of operation mode evaluation, this paper chooses thecomprehensive and systematic evaluation indexes from four aspects of power grid:reliability, stability, security and economy, and introduces the betweenness andredundancy index that assess the vulnerability of complex networks. Of which,betweenness is used to identify the vulnerable nodes and lines in power grid, andredundancy is for assessing the structural vulnerability of power grid. Most of theevaluation indexes are calculated using the PSASP, and the others are performed byJava programming algorithm.In order to better process the integration of evaluation indexes, Similarity toIdeal Solution (TOPSIS) is applied to normalize the indexes in this paper. Theweighting coefficients of evaluation indexes are determined through the combinationof Delphi and AHP method, and use linear-weighted additive method to obtain theevaluating value for each and integrated, which makes the evaluation result morevisual.Based on the prevalent B/S development mode, the overall design of power gridoperation mode evaluation system is done by combining object-oriented language Javawith MySQL database in this paper. The whole system was divided into three layers:Web browser of client layer, Web server of middle layer and MySQL database of datalayer.
