Environment and transport energy issues are the major challenges facing theworld, while also restricting the sustainable development of the automotiveindustry. Electric vehicles alleviate these problems, Lithium-ion battery due tothe superiority in performance to become the preferred battery for electricvehicles. Electric vehicles, the application process, the characteristics oflithium-ion battery, the battery into a group and battery management system arethe most important. The paper mainly includes three aspects: monomers batteryconsistency research, the battery into the group of design and batterymanagement system.Admixture of consistency in the battery, based on batteries internalresistance of appraisal method, using freedomcar circuit model, is equivalent toget to the battery internal resistance. In the model parameters used to identify,based on multiple linest function of the linear regression model. For thecertification of the models and model algorithms in battery performance test theapplicability, has carried out a test pilot.In the group of lithium-ion technology research, first studied the connectionof the battery in the battery pack; then the internal structure of the battery pack,proposed battery pack structure and cooling solutions; analysis of a variety ofbattery pack charging method, paper presents a suitable charging method; in theend, the authors designed the battery pack performance evaluation test.The battery management system study, the masterslave structure design, anelectric vehicle equipped with a main battery management system, each batterypack internal equipped with an electronic battery management unit. In the mainbattery management system use double CAN-BUS methods of communication.Then the battery management system design from hardware and software, and the field function test, test results show that the battery management system thefunction module performance is good, strong anti-interference abilitymanagement system.
