Turbogenerator plays an important role in electricity production, and it is an importantpart of the power system. In this paper, the losses, the temperature field and the fluidfield of the turbogenerator stator under the rated condition are analyzed. On this basis, the influences of the blocked hollow strands on stator fluid field and temperature fieldare discussed.Firstly,2-D transient field finite element numerical model of the turbogenerator andthe2-D eddy current field finite element numerical model of the stator bar are bothestablished. The magnetic field of the turbogenerator under the rated condition isanalyzed. On this basis, the distribution and numerical of the turbogenerator stator lossesare given.Secondly, the fluid-solid coupling heat transfer model of the stator bar is built, and thefluid field and temperature field of the stator bar are calculated by finite volume method. The cooling water velocity distribution of the hollow strands and the temperaturedistribution of stator bar under the rated condition are given. Considering the changes ofcooling water flow, the fluid field and the temperature field of the stator bar under thehollow strands blocked conditionare analyzed. The relationship between the velocity ofthe cooling water and the temperature of the stator bar and the number of blockedstrands is summarized. Finally, the fluid-solid coupling heat transfer model of the stator radial ventilationduct is established. The fluid field and temperature field of the stator radial ventilationduct under the rated condition are analyzed by finite volume method. The Hydrogenvelocity distribution of the stator radial ventilation duct and the temperature distributionof stator core are given. On this basis, the influence of the blocked hollow strands onstator temperature field is discussed.
