Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) plays a more important role in modern warfare, more and more to perform reconnaissance mission,enemy attacks, etc.,The world’s military powers have developed various types of UAVs. UAV mission planning system is a key supporting technology to implement intelligent flight and it is increasingly attracted the attention of researchers in the world. UAV mission planning system is known as UAVs strategizing, winning thousands of miles,enhacing operational efficiency multiplier.This paper studies the system at home and abroad UAV development, application, and focus on the UAV mission planning systems technology research, trends, and comprehensive analysis of the basic functions of the UAV mission planning system, system modules,working mechanism and application.Mission planning algorithm is the soul of the UAV mission planning system and the internal driving force, this paper systematically study the domestic and foreign scholars in recent years to study the UAV mission planning system algorithms, comparative study research priorities of the various methodsinferior characteristics and use.Track regulation is the core and main mission planning, occupies an important position in the research areas of mission planning techniques.In this paper, the genetic algorithm as the main tool is used to carry out in-depth research of UAV flight path planning problem, established mission constraints that may be encountered in the environment, threats, constraints, range constraints, constraint model, explored the methods to streamline the planning space, simplified space-based track search optimization method and prospect research.
