The development of power electronic technology that based on the PWM voltage typeinverter power supply has been widely used in aviation, navigation, electric power, railwaytransportation, post and communication, etc. In efficient and energy-saving, at the sametime, to inverter power supply output voltage waveform quality put forward more andmore highly demand. This paper based on the harmonic analysis of the voltage typeinverter power, studies on the selective harmonic elimination technique and the selection ofcapacitance of DC-bus filter capacitance parameter method.First, according to the basic principle of SPWM and the Fourier series theory,establish the mathematical model of SPWM voltage source inverter output waveform. Bycalculating and harmonic analysis, and through the simulation to the harmonic analysis ofthe mathematical model, and study the rule of output voltage every harmonic distribution,to provide a theoretical basis to suppress harmonic wave.Secondly, after dealing with the basic principle of selective harmonic eliminationtechnology, the establishment of the mathematical model of a inverter output waveform.The model is a non-linear transcendental equation. Newton iterative method are introduced,and used for solving switching angles.Again, inverter power supply has DC energy storage filtering link, generally uses isthe large capacity of the capacitance. Its function is mainly buffer the energy exchangebetween grid side and load, stable the voltage of bus, restrain the large fluctuations voltageof DC-bus caused by mutations load. But in engineering design, for capacitance choosingis lack of definite constraint principle, and no clear calculation selection method, it is noteasy to actual engineering application. Engineering personnel has been plagued by theselection of DC-bus capacitance parameter. In order to reducing the pollution of harmonicand reducing consumption, saving more energy, deeply studies on the method of choosingthe bus capacitance, based on the voltage type SPWM inverter power for harmonicanalysis. Finally, by the inverter power supply simulated, its output waveform and spectrum aregiven to demonstrate the theory is correct. According to the study control circuit based onTMS320F2812is produced, the program is prepared. Research shows the Newton iterativemethod for solving switching angles of selective harmonic elimination technology and itsoptimization method is correct. Through the analysis of the test results to verify theselecting principle of Dc-bus capacitance was feasibility.
