One of the keys and difficulties to design large power transformers is design of theinsulation structure. Operating experience shows that the reliability of the transformerinsulation structure is direct impact on the reliability of transformer operation. In caseguarantee the safe operation of the transformer, reducing the distance to the maininsulation can be greatly reduced the volume of the transformer, to save manufacturingcosts, the production and operation of the transformer will have obvious economicsignificance. Therefore, the study of large transformers electric field analysis method,developed an electric field engineering calculation software, guidance transformer designand manufacturing has theoretical and practical value.A calculated method that considering the material non-linear transient electric fieldpolarity reversal converter transformer is provided, use the secondary developmentfunction of commercial finite element analysis software ANSYS, combined with thetransient analysis of the restart function write the electric field calculation program. Then amodel of ZZDFPZ-297600/500±500kV converter transformer is calculated, andcompared with the results of the linear material polarity reversal electric fielddistribution,and give some conclusions.An personnel electric transformer insulation reliability analysis software base on finiteelement method open to the majority of engineering and technical is developed in thispaper. Through Visual Basic6.0programming tools, model is automatically generated bysecondary development function of AutoCAD, using OpenGL image post-processinggraphics and finite element calculation using Fortran77. Simulate the examples of aconverter transformer and a power transformer by the software, and compared the resultwith Ansoft to verify the correctness of the software developed in this paper.
