Research On The Performance Simulation And Tests Of Vehicle Based On Limited-slip Differential

Vehicle safety is generally divided into the active safety and the passive safety.Anti-slip regulation（ASR for short）is one of the important research direction ofvehicle active safety. The main purpose of ASR is to prevent the occurrence of slipwhen the vehicle is accelerating, especially on smaller friction road-surface, such asfreezing rain road-surface, ice-snow road-road surface. when the vehicle isspeeding,we control the slip rate in a certain range, thereby we can prevent thedriving wheel slip quickly. In this paper, according to a large number of bibliographicalinformation and the research project “vehicle performance testing for vehicle withmulti-plate limited slip differential for friction-type,” the author did deep study on theperformances of the limited slip differential and the influence it has on vehiclecontrollability and stabilityThe main contents of this thesis are as followings:1. The principle and structure of limited slip differential are analyzed in detail inthis paper. Calculate each test performance index of the limited slip differential andanalyze the LSD effects on vehicle performance.2. Analyze the impact of the LSD on vehicle performance and establish LSDcomputer model and LSD mathematical simulation model of the impact of vehiclehandling stability. Use the MATLAB/SIMULINK simulation software for systemsimulation.3. Research the LSD in the real vehicle performance test. Through the comparisonof the installation of conventional differential and the LSD on vehicle performancetest, study Controllability and Stability of the vehicle.Research shows that the LSD not only improves the anti-slip effect, but alsoimproves the Controllability and Stability of the vehicle, so as to improve the active safety of vehicle.This paper concerning the study of simulation and test on ASR system,has certainsignificance for the development of ASR.
