Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has the permanent magnets for magnetic material in the ac motor, so it has lots of advantages including simple structure and high efficiency. As the same time it has high energy density, small volume, and can run reliably, being good at operation.But in the traditional control system of the PMSM, it always needs a position sensor to achieve the closed loop feedback control method. The control method increases the cost of the whole system and the volume of it. So in recent years, the sensorless vector control of permanent magnet synchronous motor research is very popular, including adaptive method, and other kinds of methods such as observer method, the signal injection method, etc.This topic is a research based on the control method of the high frequency voltage signal injection, using the characteristics of the IPMSM. The control system fits for the motor state on low speed, and has strong robustness. Based on the IPMSM, first of the paper introduces the PMSM’s structure and the mathematical model, the way of vector control, and the space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) technique. Then the paper proposes the theory of the high frequency voltage signal injection and the mathematical model of it.Then using the platform of Matlab/Simulink, the author builds the simulation system based on the PMSM sensorless control in the way of the high frequency voltage signal injection, the experiment results the feasibility of the system. At last, using the TI company chip TMS320F28335as the core control chip, the author designs the hardware circuit of the control system. The paper introduces the power supply circuit, the control circuit, the current detection circuit and the over current protection circuit. In addition, the author introduces the way of software implementation including the PWM interrupt program, the vector control system program, the FIR digital filter program.The experiment shows the sensorless control system can meet the demands of the low speed motor. It can follow the tracks of the actual motor position, and can estimate the motor speed correctly. The control system has strong robustness and achieves the purpose.
